This
web site is dedicated to the promotion of Freemasonry in the modern
world and whilst it in the main relates to Freemasonry as practised
under UGLE it also encompasses Masonic workings of other constitutions
and hopes, over time, to become a major contributor to the advancement
and encouragement of this fraternal, worldwide organisation. |

The largest contributor to charities in the United Kingdom
after the National Lottery is Freemasonry? |
Website
In the main this web site
relates to Freemasonry overlooked by the United Grand Lodge of England,
but this in no way will limit the site relating to articles,
discussions, features and input other than all items must conform to
basic Masonic principles. Submissions, however controversial, are
encouraged and providing they add to the advancement of Freemasonry,
will be considered for inclusion on the appropriate page.
The web site has been
designed to run under Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, Netscape etc but
should also run in other browsers. Some of the pictures featured are large, unless you have
Broadband they may take some time to download - but well worth the wait.
Because of a recent virus in
the software running this website it will no longer be updated but will
be administered as normal.

Screen Resolution
The
display resolution of your computer’s screen determines how big or small
the text and icons are. The larger the resolution, the more information
will be displayed on a single screen without having to scroll left and
right using the scroll bars.
The
screen for this web site is designed for a display resolution of 1024 x
768. If your display resolution is smaller than this, you may find that
some items “disappear” off the right-hand edge of the screen sometimes.
The items are still there – you just have to use the scroll bar along
the bottom of the screen to find them.
If
this bothers you, you can see if your current computer equipment will
support a larger screen resolution. Most computers will normally have
their display set to the maximum possible resolution supported by their
hardware, so you may not be able to improve on what you already have.
Also, how you change these settings varies according to which operating
system you are using. For example, the procedure is slightly different
for different versions of Windows.
Basically, you need to find your way to the Control Panel application
(usually Start/Control Panel), and then find the Display icon. Double
click on this icon, and find the Settings tab. Change your resolution
to a larger setting, and see if that solves the problem.
